“I am from Saida, I was born and raised there. Saida is a cultural and historical city. When I became a volunteer with DPNA, I was introduced to Youth RESOLVE 2 and as part of the project, we were able to assess the needs of our community. It became evident to us that the city suffered from waste mismanagement, power shortages and lack of free cultural spaces for children and youth. I hope that throughout the project, we will be able to create impactful change. Because my hope, as a 20-year old, is to avoid having to leave my country. I am confident that with the simplest actions, we can create change. I am looking forward to witnessing positive change in my city, Saida”.
